    The Ninh Binh Day Tour takes you back to the glorious historical memories of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital once the political, economic, and cultural center of Dai Co Viet more than 1,000 years ago. Amidst the ancient setting, you will hear stories of wise kings and heroic victories that safeguarded the nation’s borders.
    Leaving Hoa Lu, a gentle bamboo boat will carry you along the Ngo Dong River, passing through the three mystical caves of Tam Coc - often called “Halong Bay on land.” Emerald waters, towering limestone mountains, and drifting clouds reflecting on the surface blend into a vivid watercolor painting. During the golden rice season (May-June), both riverbanks glow in yellow, with the faint scent of ripening fields adding charm to your journey.
    Beyond sightseeing, you’ll also cycle through Northern Vietnamese countryside villages, weaving along shaded bamboo paths, admiring moss covered rooftops, and meeting the warm smiles of local people. The trip concludes with a buffet of Ninh Binh specialties such as mountain goat and crispy rice, letting your taste buds “travel” as well.

    Departure to Ninh Binh
    • After checking the guest list and ensuring the full number of participants, the tour guide will officially inform the driver to depart for Ninh Binh.
    • During the journey, the tour guide will review the detailed itinerary so guests can follow it.
    • On the way, there will be a 20 minute stop at a rest station in Phu Ly, Ha Nam, where guests can rest and have breakfast (at their own expense).
    Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
    • You will visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - the first capital of Vietnam in the 10th century home to two ancient, sacred temples built to honor the renowned kings of the Dinh and Le dynasties. It is an important historical site, rich in cultural and spiritual value.
    Enjoy Ninh Binh Cuisine
    The group will enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, featuring various Ninh Binh’s signature specialties, offering rich traditional flavors.

    Depart for Tam Coc Tourist Area
    • On the way to Tam Coc Tourist Area, the tour guide will share information about its history, landscapes, and activities such as boating through caves, exploring the “Halong Bay on land,” and cycling through the countryside. The guide will also inform guests of the detailed sightseeing schedule and meeting times to help arrange their return conveniently.
    Visit Tam Coc Tourist Area
    • You will board a boat to explore the Tam Coc Tourist Area, drifting along the poetic Ngo Dong River to visit its famous caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. Here, you can admire shimmering, magical stalactites and the stunning limestone mountain scenery, often called “Halong Bay on land.” On both sides of the river lie lush green or golden rice fields during harvest (typically in May and June), creating a charming and picturesque natural landscape.
    Cycling & Check-in with countryside scenery
    You will enjoy a cycling experience to explore and take check-in photos amidst the peaceful countryside scenery that reflects the traditional charm of Northern Vietnam’s lowlands, with tranquil village paths, lush green bamboo groves, and the rustic daily life of local people.

    • Follow the tour guide’s instructions throughout the cycling activity.
    • Do not separate from the group or travel far beyond the designated area.
    • This is a light, leisurely experience suitable for most ages; guests who choose not to participate may rest at the meeting point as the tour guide arranges.

    Return to Hanoi
    Farewell to Ninh Binh, you will board the bus back to Hanoi. On the way, the group will stop for a short break and shop for local specialties to bring home as gifts for family and friends.
